Tour in Costa Rica Could be Awarded an “Emmy”.

The tour called “Quest for Pura Vida” by the Costa Rica Expeditions agency was located between the elite top 50 by the magazine “Traveler” from National Geographic, thanks to the episode broadcast on the “Adventures with Purpose”, of the PBS television network.

The recognition came because they felt that Costa Rica has something special that makes it different from other tourist havens.

The episode featured the tour of Tortuguero, Nectandra Gardens in San Ramon, Monteverde and Arenal, where the country’s natural wealth and warmth of the Costa Rican landscape dazzled millions of viewers in the U.S. and Canada. This increased the number of American tourists who acquired the Costa Rica vacation package.

In September of this year we will know if the episode of the tour would be nominated for an Emmy, and in February the results would be known of the award.

Michael Kiye, owner of the company said, it is a foreign target audience of high socio-economic status, but Costa Rican tourists will give them the opportunity to enjoy the country, offering discounted memberships and domestic tours.

The economic crisis in 2009 caused the number of tourists to fall by 8 percent and is still the same.
