Was Chirripo Fire Set Out of Revenge?

The fire brigades have been working for 5 days to control the fire of Mount Chirripo. The authorities continue to investigate those responsible for this environmental damage.

One hypothesis is that it is the revenge of a group of men who apparently stole at least five cows and kept clean a pasture near La Amistad National Park.

Apparently they found out who killed their animals. The owners of the animals sought revenge and without thinking twice set fire to the farm of their enemies.

No thought of the consequences and the flames spread across the Chirripo National Park, destroying in its wake the regenerating flora of 28 years. It also manages the version that the authorities found marijuana plantations in the mountains, so it is also thought to set them on fire.

So far the investigations continue to find those responsible for the vandalism.
