Changes in atmospheric pressure over the Caribbean Sea is causing wet conditions in the country, as expressed by the National Meteorological Institute(IMN).
Specifically this involvement causes heavy rains and cloudy skies with strong winds in the mountainous areas of the Caribbean and Northern Zone.
“This condition was the cause of heavy rains in the morning and very windy morning.” said Werner Stolz of the IMN.
This will force the Costa Ricans to wear their raincoats and umbrellas until next Wednesday.
In Limon, the experts have extreme preventive measures in hazardous areas by rain and wind conditions that could lead to rough seas and affect vessels.
In the Caribbean, rains in the last 24 hours equates to the level of precipitation throughout the previous month.
