Precisely at the moment they’re waging a campaign to collect 25000 signatures to support a bill to protect marine species in the seas of Costa Rica, whose need is urgent according to specialists.
The legal advisor to the Costa Rican Fisheries Federation, Antonio Chavez explained that, to improve conditions for marine species in the country, has urged that education from early ages but especially more drastic legislation against those exercising overfishing.
Experts from the Costa Rican Fisheries Federation added that the harsh reality of overfishing affects not only the Pacific but also the Caribbean coast.
