The earthquakes occurred at 2 pm. The first 4 miles southwest of Sangregado Tilarán in Gunacaste. Its intensity was 4.2 degrees on the Richter scale,
The second was 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale with epicenter 9 miles southwest of La Fortuna de San Carlos.
The specialist of the National Seismological Network of the University of Costa Rica, Raul Mora explained the origin of this latest quake, also felt slightly in the Central Valley.
According to the specialist of the National Seismological Network earthquakes were not felt very strongly because of the depth, in both cases greater than 90kilometers.
There were no reported damage from these earthquakes.
