Costa Rica Tries to Entice German Tourists

28 companies will participate in the International Tourism Fair ITB, to be developed in Germany from tomorrow until Sunday.

Domestic companies are supported by the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo, which hopes to attract the interest of the Germans for visiting our country.

Attendees of the fair in Berlin can enjoy the flavor typical of the area – the biscuits and rice pudding, besides knowing the natural resources and sustainable model of tourism development in Costa Rica.

Last year almost 50 000 German tourists came to Costa Rica, says the head of promotion of ICT, Silvia Rodriguez.

The average stay of German tourists in the country is 18 nights and daily expenditure is $72 per person per day.
