Costa Rica will enter as an observer, to the Pacific Alliance in order to deepen trade relations with member countries.
The Alianzaestá made by Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru, plus Panama is also an observer.
The announcement came Monday, after a virtual conference president Laura Chinchilla with the presidents of the nations making up the group.
The Alianzafue incorporated in April 2011 to promote growth, development and competitiveness of countries, using the basis of bilateral trade agreements and promote closer ties with the Asia-Pacific.
Explained the Minister of Foreign Trade, Anabel Gonzalez.
Gonzalez said that the trade ministers of all countries will come together to form an agreement that will lay the foundation of the integration process.
