Communities Come Together to Combat Violence

The increase in the numbers of violent crimes is a concern to communities.

Thus 11 districts of the Central Valley of the county came together in search of a permanent solution to their problems.

The safety committees are made up of neighborhood leaders in each area and meet regularly to update the diagnosis of security in their communities.

Now the focus will be on younger populations.

The idea is to educate the youth of the country and the best tools to combat it.

These fairs are organized and coordinated by the police force and engage different sections of the municipality of San Jose.

Furthermore, the will be with the regular participation of Armed Forces, Ministry of Justice and Peace, Firefighters and Red Cross.

At this time the communities of Carmen, Hospital, Mercy, Cathedral, Pavas, SanFrancisco, Hatillo Zapote and enjoy the benefits of such commissions.
