The Limon OIJ detachment rescued four Ecuadorian children, who apparently were being taken illegally across the border between Panama and Costa Rica.
Although investigations are still early in investigations, it is believed that they were taken north of the continent for the transfer of organs.
The OIJ believe there is another 5 children of the same nationality who are hiding somewhere on the border.
There are two adults who are detained in cells of the security forces in Limon.
The four children are protected in Limon OIJ offices, in collaboration with the National Foundation for Children (PANI).
The are waiting at the site for psychologists to come to the attention of children and the Ambassador of Ecuador.
