In addition to juice, water and beer, Bebidas Florida also sells milk and dairy products.
On Monday, the Costa Rican company announced its incursion into the dairy market with the signing of a strategic alliance with Coopeleche.
The cooperative and its 130 associates continue to focus on providing the milk produced on their farms and Bebidas Florida, through two subsidiaries, will take charge of the production plant located in San Ramon de Alajuela and marketing.
Coopeleche produces long-life milk, ice cream, custard, cream cheese and yogurt.
Gisela Sanchez, director of Corporate Relations at Bebidas Florida, did not rule out changes in the coming months.
Sanchez said Coopeleche staff will remain unchanged.
Months ago, Bebidas Florida also announced the purchase of the Corporation Musmanni.
