BCR enabled in Internet application for license and passport appointments

Costa Rica bank (BCR) enabled on its website an option for people to apply the appointment to issue a license or passport. Also be handle identity documents for foreigners (Dimex). This new service complements the current request appointments that provides for the Call Center, number 900-00-34639 or 800-2272482 DIMEX licenses and passports, in schedule from Monday through Friday from 8 am to 9 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.

The service is free and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a week. It can be accessed from any Internet-connected device, computer or cell phone.

In addition to the 47 offices which already complete processes, the bank will offer the service in Curridabat Business Center, and the offices of Peñas Blancas (Guanacaste), Santa Rosa de Pocosol (Alajuela), Siquirres (Lemon) and San Antonio de Belen (Heredia).

In July this year, the Central Bank issued the passport number 300000, from the beginning of the agreement in 2007.
