300000 H1N1 Vacines Have Been Administered

Health authorities implemented more than 300,000 vaccines against H1N1 influenza in the last two months.

During March and April the Costa Rican Social Security (CAJA) applied more than 300,000 vaccines for any populations at risk.

The authorities will provide the vaccine to the elderly, children, people with respiratory diseases and people working in health areas.

But if you have not already done so this month the Ministry of Health are exploring the possibility of implementing a new vaccination campaign for the second half of the year.

This campaign cost approximately a million and half dollars and covered the entire country.
